IT’S ABOUT TIME marks the 20-year anniversary of Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR). During this event we will reflect on its first edition and talk about present themes and urgencies of architecture biennales. Saskia van Stein (director of IABR) will interview Kristin Feireiss about her pioneering role as initiator of IABR. What has changed in the past two decades in cultural production and global placemaking.

The evening will conclude with contributions by Aric Chen (general and creative director Het Nieuwe Instituut and curator London Design Biennale and Shenzhen Biennale), Tosin Oshinowo (curator Sharjah Architecture Triennial) and Léa-Catherine Szacka (co-curator of IT’S ABOUT TIME).
