Drop in for free on Saturday, Nov. 12, on this second-last day of the exhibition with stories and contributions from curators and makers. The four curators Derk Loorbach, Véronique Patteeuw, Léa-Catherine Szacka and Peter Veenstra and IABR director Saskia van Stein will give ongoing guided tours. Children can make there own time sculptures out of clay and you can join a sketching workshop by artist Jan Rothuizen.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. CHILDREN’S WORKSHOP | age 6-9
Under the guidance of artist Maria Kley, the children will take a philosophical tour of the exhibition IT’S ABOUT TIME; afterwards, they will set to work making their own images of time out of clay. Their works will become part of a collective art installation that will continue to grow throughout the exhibition. How can we bring the past, the present, and the future together in a world you want to live and play in?

2.30 – 5.00 p.m. SKETCHING WORKSHOP by Jan Rothuizen (please note the changed starting time)
The Soft Atlas of the Netherlands by Jan Rothuizen contains maps in black and white; partly drawn and partly written. The maps are not an objective representation of reality but a personal interpretation of the environment. During this sketching workshop, Jan Rothuizen shares his methods with you. After walking through the neighborhood and observing the environment, you will start making your own drawing at the Ferro. This workshop is suitable for all ages and all levels!
